In December world leaders meet in Copenhagen to negotiate a global agreement on tackling climate change. As they decide the future of the planet the Walk Against Warming will be held all over the world calling for fair, strong and urgent action to ensure a safe climate for future generations.
The 12th of December is the mid-way point of the negotiations in Copenhagen.
Walk Against Warming is Australia’s contribution to the International Day of Action on Climate Change. Taking place in every capital city and regional towns and cities across Australia, Walk Against Warming attracts ordinary Australians who are prepared to stand up for the environment and future generations.
For those of you in Brisbane the walk leaves King George Square at 10am. We’ll be there with our blue laces on, will you?
