In February 2009 Journey featured an article on ‘Jesus junk’, products of the massive Christian merchandise industry. We just keep finding more and more intriguing products aimed at the Christian market so here are a few of our favourites:
1. Jesus band-aids. Because Jesus heals.
2. Holy Bible Mints- in a black tin that looks like a Holy Bible. 
3. Jesus Action Figure – complete with glow in the dark hands
4. Holy Toast- simply stamp the bread, toast it, and behold- a miracle!
5. Jesus pencil toppers
6. Grow Jesus – just add water.
7. We are not quite sure where this came from, and I suspect it is a one-of-a-kind treasure.
The question has to be asked: How and where were these products made? Were they made in sweat shops?
And what would Jesus buy?

Regarding number 7, sweat shops is not the first question i have.
More like “who on earth thought that was a good idea – in this day and age?”
