New Synod Gen Sec and Moderator Elect announced

Rev Kaye Ronalds has been elected as Moderator Elect of the Uniting Church in Queensland, beginning her role as Moderator at the next Synod meeting.

Ms Ronalds will be the first woman to hold the role in Queensland.

The Synod members overwhelmingly supported the nomination of Shirley Coulson as the next Queensland Synod General Secretary, beginning her role after the retirement of Rev Douglas Jones.
